Privacy policy
Last updated 12 October 2026.
In short: no cookies, no advertising and no selling of data. We count visits anonymously, and if you contact us we use your details only to reply. The demo holds invented patients only.
Who we are
Domi is made by YSB Ventures Ltd, registered in England and Wales, company number 16022339 (“we”, “us”). We decide how information collected through this website (domi.ysbdesigns.uk) and the live demo (app.domi.ysbdesigns.uk) is used, so we’re the controller of it under the UK GDPR. Contact us at yameen@ysbdesigns.uk.
What we collect, and why
| What | Why | Lawful basis | How long |
|---|---|---|---|
| Visit statistics: the page, the site you came from, browser and device type, and country (worked out from your IP address, which isn’t stored) | To see which pages are useful and keep the site working well | Legitimate interests | Kept by Cloudflare in aggregate; no profile of you is built |
| What you send through the contact form or by email: name, email, organisation, phone number if you give it, and your message | To reply, and to arrange a walkthrough if you ask for one | Legitimate interests, or steps before a contract at your request | We keep it up to 12 months after our last contact, unless you become a customer. Web3Forms, which delivers the form, keeps its own copy for up to 3 years |
| Server logs on the hosts below, including IP addresses | Security and keeping the service running | Legitimate interests | As set by each host |
| The live demo: a private practice with invented patients, your demo sign-in session, and anything you type into it | To run the demo for you | Legitimate interests | Deleted after 3 hours without use, or when the server restarts |
Please don’t type real patients’ details into the demo. It’s for trying Domi with the invented patients it comes with.
Cookies
This website sets no cookies. Our visit statistics (Cloudflare Web Analytics) are cookieless: they don’t store anything on your device or follow you between sites, which is why there’s no cookie banner.
The live demo sets one cookie, domi_session, when you sign in. It keeps you signed in, is strictly necessary for the demo to work, and ends when you sign out or after 12 hours at most. The demo also remembers your demo code and chosen practice in your browser’s storage, so a page reload doesn’t start a new demo. On a clinician’s phone it also keeps that day’s round, so the app works without signal; signing out wipes it. Strictly necessary storage like this doesn’t need consent under the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations.
Who processes it for us
- GitHub hosts this website (GitHub’s privacy statement).
- Cloudflare provides the anonymous visit statistics (Cloudflare’s privacy policy).
- Web3Forms delivers contact-form messages to our inbox, and keeps a copy for up to 3 years (Web3Forms’ privacy policy). If you’d rather it didn’t, email us instead of using the form.
- Render hosts the live demo (Render’s privacy policy).
- Our email provider holds the messages we exchange with you.
Some of these companies are based in, or process data in, the United States. Where your information leaves the UK, it’s protected by the safeguards the UK GDPR requires, such as the UK–US data bridge or standard contractual clauses. We never sell your information or use it for advertising.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of what we hold about you, and to correct it, delete it, or stop or limit how we use it. You can object to anything we do on the basis of legitimate interests. Email yameen@ysbdesigns.uk; we’ll reply within a month.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, please tell us first. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office.
When Domi is used by a practice
This policy covers our website and demo. When a healthcare practice uses Domi for its own patients, the practice is the controller of its patients’ information and we process it on its behalf under a data processing agreement. Patients should read their practice’s own privacy notice.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update it here and change the date at the top.
