Home and care-home eye care runs on routes, notice periods and second visits to fit the glasses. Domi plans the rounds, refills the gap a cancellation leaves, and keeps every record on the optometrist's phone, with or without signal.
Real screens from the live demo, which is set up as a domiciliary eye-care practice.
A cancellation, refilled within the rules
When a visit drops out, Domi offers the slot to the best-matched patients on your waiting list. NHS sight tests inside the 48-hour PCSE notice are held back automatically.
Rounds planned for the least driving
Every optometrist's day is checked for a shorter order, from home and back. Only the patients whose time changes are told.
Prescriptions on the phone
Each patient's last prescription, alerts and visit history go with the optometrist, and still open where there's no signal.
Made for how domiciliary eye care works
Most practice systems were built for a high-street shop with a test room. Domi starts from the car.
The PCSE notice, checked as you bookDomi tracks the pre-visit notice for every NHS sight test, never offers one by text inside 48 hours, and lists the notifications to lodge or cancel when visits move.
Tests go to optometrists onlySight tests and eye examinations are only booked with an optometrist. Dispensing opticians get the deliveries, fittings and repairs.
Referrals with a real reasonFamilies, carers and care homes refer through your own form. It asks for the condition that keeps the patient at home, because “housebound” alone won't do on a claim.
Short visits fill short gapsA gap too small for a sight test is offered for a glasses delivery or a repair instead, so the time still earns.

What's built, and what isn't yet
We'd rather you knew now than found out after signing. Domi runs the admin around your visits, not the clinical record. The live demo shows everything in the first column.

Moving across from spreadsheets and paper
You don't have to retype anything, and you don't switch until your team is ready.
Send us what you haveYour spreadsheet, a practice-system export or the paper diary. Column headings first, so we can plan the move before any patient data changes hands.
We check every rowThe import flags postcodes that are really town names, duplicates, patients with only a landline and missing details, so nothing goes in wrong.
We set it up for youYour visit types, the towns you cover, your team and their working hours, and your logo on everything patients see.
Try it, then switchYour team runs real days alongside the old way until they're happy. Most practices are live in about four weeks.
Questions opticians ask
Does Domi replace our practice system?
It replaces the admin around the visits: the diary, the spreadsheets, the referral and cancellation forms, and the ringing round when someone cancels. The eye examination stays in the clinical system you already use, and Domi works alongside it.
Does it handle NHS domiciliary sight tests?
Yes. Each NHS sight test carries its PCSE pre-visit notice. Domi won't offer one by text inside the 48-hour notice, and keeps a list of notifications to lodge, move or cancel.
What if the optometrist has no signal?
The day's round and records are saved on the phone, so it keeps working and catches up when signal returns. Signing out wipes them from the phone.
How do patients cancel?
They reply CANCEL to the reminder text, or a relative uses the cancel link in it. No forms and no phone call, and the slot is offered straight away to someone who's waiting.
Where is patient data kept?
The live demo holds invented patients only. Before any real patient goes in, your practice's system runs on its own encrypted UK database with daily backups, under a data processing agreement with you.
